7 Days in Egypt Cairo & Luxor

On the first day of your trip, you will visit the Giza pyramids and sphinx, two of the most iconic landmarks in the world. You will also visit Sakkara, the site of the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest complete stone building complex known in the history of the world. 

On the second day of your trip in Egypt, you will visit the Egyptian Museum, home to the world's largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. You will also visit the Cairo Citadel, a medieval Islamic fortress, and Coptic Cairo, a neighborhood with many ancient churches and monasteries. 

 On the third day of your trip, you will take a day trip to Alexandria, the second-largest city in Egypt. You will visit Pompey Pillar, a Roman column; the Serapium, an ancient Egyptian temple to the god Serapis; the Alexandria Library, a modern library built on the site of the ancient Library of Alexandria; and Qaytbay Citadel, a 15th-century fort. 

On the fourth day of your trip, you will fly to Luxor and visit Karnak Temple: Explore the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple Complex, the largest religious complex ever built. Wander through the Hypostyle Hall with its 134 massive columns, admire the hieroglyphics depicting pharaohs and gods, and explore the Precinct of Mut and the Temple of Khonsu. 

Afternoon: Enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant savoring Egyptian cuisine.

Luxor Temple: In the late afternoon, visit the majestic Luxor Temple dedicated to Amun-Ra, the sun god. Witness the colossal statues of Ramses II at the entrance, explore the inner sanctuaries, and learn about the rituals and festivals held here.

On the fifth day of your trip,  Valley of the Kings: Hike through the Valley of the Kings, the burial ground of pharaohs like Tutankhamun and Ramses VI. Explore several tombs, marvel at the colorful hieroglyphics and paintings, and learn about the ancient Egyptians' beliefs about the afterlife. 

Hatshepsut Temple: Witness the architectural marvel of Hatshepsut Temple, showcasing terraced levels ascending the cliffs. Learn about the powerful female pharaoh Hatshepsut and admire the intricate carvings and statues. 

 Lunch: Enjoy a picnic lunch overlooking the Nile River and the West Bank.

Colossi of Memnon: Visit the imposing statues of Amenhotep III, known as the Colossi of Memnon, and hear the haunting sounds said to emanate from the statues at sunrise.

On the sixth day of your trip, you Will Visit Valley of the Queens: Explore the tombs of queens, princesses, and royal children in the Valley of the Queens.

Madinat Habu Temple: Discover the well-preserved Temple of Ramses III at Madinat Habu, showcasing detailed reliefs depicting battles and religious rituals.

On the seventh day of your trip, you will have a free day to back to Cairo
